ღ Remember in July 2013, San-x held a Facebook Popularity Contest to vote for the theme which Rilakkuma fans like the best? Well, this time round Lawson is following the footsteps of San-x!! The poll garnered over 10,000 participants and ta-da, the WINNER IS THE FOREST THEME!!! I'm so excited because this is my favorite theme too:)

Shortly after the result announcement, Lawson released a picture of the above figure stating its impending launch^^

I was so pleased to finally receive my piece in January this year. It weighs a little heavy and has got very fine workmanship. I love the details found in the Lawson display, especially the mini donuts. And it cost only ¥3,990 inclusive of tax which I think is really cheap  ღ

ღ Here comes the Lawson x San-x Campaign again^^

This time round is the volume 12, preorder kick start on 03 September 2013 to 18 November 2013. Officially for sale on 20 December 2013 <3

At first I have no intention to purchase this Loppi release because there is no Korilakkuma T.T

But I guess I've gone (a little) too crazy over Rilakkuma.. I can't control myself  >.<"

Since the campaign is a continuation of the Happy Time series, both Rilakkuma and Kiiroitori are again dressed up as little deers but in sweet pink now.. I wished the deer costume for Rilakkuma extends to his whole body... ღ

I recalled that I screamed and trembled on the spot after winning... so embarrassing.. lol ღ

❤ 2014 Rilakkuma Store Limited Edition Rilakkuma Korilakkuma Kiiroitori Roses Theme Set ❤

ღ This was released alongside with the 3 individual plushies featured in my previous post.

I love the way Korilakkuma lying on her tummy with a butterfly resting on her tail, it is super kawaii!! And there is Kiiroitori popping out of the roses petals like the bud of the flower ^^

I always enjoy the 3-in-1 release by San-x, this is no exception, there are so much feels in it. <3 ღ

❤ 2014 Rilakkuma Store Limited Edition Rilakkuma Korilakkuma Kiiroitori Roses Theme ❤

ღ Prior to the Valentine's Day, San-x released this special Rose Themed edition plushies.

I think this series caught many Rilakkuma fans by surprise! 

It was suddenly announced that the Rose series will be put up for sale at a temporary set up store at Nagoya from 26 December 2013 to 06 January 2014. And after the event ends, it will be available at all other Rilakkuma stores across Japan from 11 January 2014 onwards.

There were rumors that San-x are testing the waters for opening a store at Nagoya but so far, nothing is confirmed yet. Let's keep our fingers crossed^^ Hopefully we get to collect Nagoya Anniversary plush in the near future:)

I love the bouquet of roses that Gege and Meimei are holding to. The roses are very nicely sewn together and decorated with a few pearly beads. Kiiroitori is unable to hold a bouquet of roses because his hands are too short for it >o< ღ

❤ 2014 Japan San X Store Limited Edition Rilakkuma Korilakkuma Kiiroitori Horse Theme ❤

ღ This 3-in-1 special limited piece was released on 7th December 2013, for sale at all Japan Rilakkuma stores only.

Though it retails at ¥5,000 + tax, it didn't deter people from buying! Within hours all stocks are being swept off -.-"

Look at the cup coasters I managed to secure ^^ haha so happy and contented ღ

P.S: Rilakkuma can be removed from the hole:)

❤ 2014 Japan San X Store Limited Edition Rilakkuma Korilakkuma Kiiroitori in the Year of Horse 午 ❤

ღ It's 2014, the Year of Horse~~

Like the previous years, San-x releases store exclusives to commemorate this yearly event.

The threesome are dressed up as horses and each holding a pony. I'm really grateful that they assigned a white pony with pink hair and tail to Korilakkuma, it is just so irresistibly sweet.

The Chinese character of horse (午) is also printed on their tags.

Just a side note, the costumes are non detachable except the tail, but it doesn't affect the awesomeness of these plushies at all!! ღ

♥ 2013 Japan San X Net Shop Limited Ed 10th Anniversary Merry Christmas Wonderland Band ♥

ღ After the successful launch of the 10th anniversary parade float, San-x continue to release this exclusive Christmas gift set to upset the pockets of many collectors^^

The whole gift set consists of the Rilakkuma Wonderland Band of 8, each member slightly bigger than half of palm size, playing a unique musical instrument.  There is also one little cute Christmas tree to decorate the stage, giving a festive vibe to it.

Collectors can place their order through San-x Net shop for a limited period of time and it cost ¥17,500 which is about SGD220. Just to share a little more, although San-x Net shop does not ship internationally, but they work closely with Tenso, an international forwarding company. Collectors like us staying overseas can actually order directly from Net shop and get the item shipped to your doorstep:) After adding up all the costs involved, you can get the above item in less than SGD300! You saved 200 dollars compared to getting it from retail shops in Singapore! !!

❤ 2013 Japan San X Rilakkuma's Warm Hearty Winter with Knitted Wool Theme ❤

ღ This set of plushies reminds me of <Winter Sonata>.. 

it's so romantic.. lol

Sometimes I really wonder if San-x writers are Korean TV fans / viewers.. 

Especially when they just drop the upcoming July release theme - planets & stars

Doo Min Joon shi.. hahaha.. I've gone too far fetched..

I really loved for the material for this series of dolls, 

it is much softer and fluffier, filled with lots of beans, causing them to weigh heavier than usual. 

Each of them has got 3 round fluffy balls attached to them which is extremely cute! ღ

♥ 2013 Rilakkuma Store Opening ♥ 原宿店 Harajuku 1st Anniversary ♥

ღ Rilakkuma and Korilakkuma wrapped in fruit crepes!! Yummy yummy ^o^ 

I prefer Meimei's strawberry flavor lol.. what about you?? ^^

The plush itself is slightly smaller than the previous anniversary plush.. and I was a little disappointed when I saw the poster at first. I thought there are no legs T.T

Luckily, the plush can be removed from the crepe and the 3D fruits and cream are super kawaii ღ

♥ 2012 Japan San X Rilakkuma Store Opening ☆ 梅田 Umeda 4th Anniversary ♥

ღ Wow they are dressed up in Japan's popular dessert - Purin (Custard) Pudding!!

This pair is as popular as the pudding itself.. lol

It is so hard to get them T.T,  considering the high demand in Japan. Overseas collectors like us can only wait for chances and luck..

Sometimes collection is not about rushing and throwing in big money to get what you want but rather do lots of research and set your own budget that you think is the most reasonable and comfortable^^ 

And of course save the money for upcoming release!! If not the prices are going to hike again years down the road -.-" ღ

❤ 2013 Rilakkuma x Kiiroitori ☆ LOFT Limited ❤

 

ღ If you recall the costumes released by San-X a few month ago, this was launched along the same 

timeline but is the Loft limited edition:) 

Loft is a Japanese chain store that sells everyday commodities. It is quite surprising that they are involved in this kind of collaboration too!

Different from those San-X releases, the Loft edition comes with a plain Rilakkuma and cost a total of ¥1,950 + tax. 

Not forgetting that Kiiroitori loves cleaning, a mop is included to the package which I think is a highlight though I doubt Rilakkuma likes it -.-" ღ
